Whether you visit the theatre, family or your favourite sport activity, the Praktica DC 50 gives you all the elegance and user-friendliness you need. The body of the DC50 digital camera is nicely designed and incorporates innovative technique of the highest level. The camera features a 2-inch display (approx. 5.1cm) helping you share photos with family and friends. The Praktica DC50 is equipped with a 5.36 Megapixel CCD image sensor and due to its interpolation setting the highest resolution is 7 Megapixels. Additionally the DC50 camera captures movie (640x480 pixels).

The video function of the Praktica DC50 has multiple settings. The highest resolution is 640x480 pixels with 15 frames per second, the lowest resolution is 320x240 pixels with 24 frames per second. The recorded .AVI data can be played via a PC with sound. You want to print your favourite photo? No problem, the Praktica DC50 supports PictBridge. When connected to the latest range of PictBridge compatible printers, users can take advantage of printing without the need of a computer.

Furthermore the Praktica DC50 features a 5.85mm lens (35mm equivalent with 35mm camera). The shutter speed range is 8 - 1/1000 seconds with a exposure compensation of -/+ 2EV and 8 steps EV. The camera gets its power from 2 Alkaline or NiMH batteries. The camera incorporates 16MB internal memory and has a memory slot that supports the Secure Digital card.
