"Intel Corporation is pleased to work as a direct link between the CE-ATA Promoter Group and the MMCA board to create a true common HDD (Hard Disk Drive) interface standard for CE devices," said Rick Coulson, Intel Corporation Fellow and Director of I/O Architecture. "Intel Corporation advocates industry recognized bus architectures that can be used by different memory systems on mobile phones and small consumer electronics devices, such as the MMC (MultiMedia Card) interface."
