 Mustek GSmart S50 : Mustek announced its latest innovation in digital photography with the launch of the GSmart S50 digital camera. With an MSRP of only $130.95 (U.S.), the pocket-sized Mustek GSmart-S50 is sure to be a hit with budget-conscious consumers who can now digitally capture every magic moment with photos that they’ll cherish for years to come. Highlighted by a 3.1 Megapixel CMOS sensor, the Mustek S50 delivers the equivalent resolution of a 5.0 Megapixel camera by using built-in hardware interpolation that increases the number of pixels saved for higher quality prints at larger sizes. In fine mode, the Mustek GSmart S50 digital camera captures vibrant, brilliant color JPEG images at 2592 x 1944 resolution.

Other resolutions are High (2000 x 1500) and Standard (1000 x 750). Photos are easily transferred to a Windows PC (2000/ME/XP or later) via the included docking station or USB cable for color prints up to 8” x 10” size, image archiving, e-mailing to family and friends, or uploading to a website. To compose shots and view photos, the camera boasts an ultra-bright 1.5-inch TFT LCD screen. Fully automatic, the camera also features a viewfinder and a versatile lens system with 4X digital zoom and a focus range of 1.5m to infinity.
