Phase OneColor Moiré Suppression Tool with Capture One : Phase One, the world leader in digital imaging solutions, is proud to announce a brand new Color Moiré Suppression tool with the latest version of Capture One 3.7.2 PRO and DB (Mac only). The technology behind this tool is patented by Phase One. The new intelligent tool does more than suppressing visible color Moiré, it automatically detects areas in the image that have or may have color Moiré. It is very easy to use and by changing just one parameter in the tool, Moiré can be totally eliminated in e.g. different fabrics. This is done directly in the RAW file even before converting to TIFF or JPEG. This ensures image quality and saves time for the photographer.
Color Moiré Suppression Tool with Capture OneDeMoirize plug-in to Adobe Photoshop
The new tool is not the only way to handle Moiré when shooting with a Phase One camera back - photographers can always remove Moiré with Capture One even if the new Color Moiré Suppression Tool is not available for their RAW files yet. Capture One comes with a very efficient Moiré Suppression Tool called DeMoirize. It is installed as a plug-in to Adobe Photoshop and works on TIFF files instead of RAW files. It efficiently suppresses color Moiré in textiles, on skin and hair and on other objects.

Phase One digital backs
With the new Moiré tool, photographers can effectively suppress and remove color Moiré in images from the range of Phase One digital backs listed here:
• H25 and H 20
• All existing and new P-backs
