CanonCanon Powershot SD430 Wireless : Canon introduces a new digital camera, Canon Powershot SD430 Wireless. A fresh design with the cutting edge digital camera technology with wireless support and the elegance of the PowerShot series was created by splitting the camera section and the antenna section. The Canon SD430 Wireless features a 2.0-inch LCD monitor on the rear. Easy operations were achieved by finger rest and appropriately spaced controls. When you want to save or print your images, the Powershot SD430 digital camera lets you transfer them to a personal computer or printer wirelessly, without the need for cables. The Canon SD430 Wireless is equipped with a 3x optical zoom lens with a focal length of 35–105 mm (35mm format).

Employing Canon's exclusive “UA lens”, an ultra-high refractive index glass molded aspherical lens, for the lens construction achieved drastic shortening of the focal length and minimization of lens unit that fits within the diameter of one euro cent. Also, finely correcting the lens aberration which occurs on spherical lenses is effective for the improvement of the image quality. The Canon Powershot SD430 Wireless employs approx. 5.0 million camera effective pixels. The Canon SD430 also uses a primary color filter for superior color reproduction.

Powershot SD430 Wireless - DIGIC II
The new Canon S430 Wireless is equipped with Canon high-performance and high-speed processing DIGIC II. With the greatest image processing capability in another league, the DIGIC II achieves extremely high-definition processing, AF accuracy and higher-speed processing, and also the camera startup time, AF speed, response time for image display at playback and the speed to transfer image data to a memory card are considerably improved. Also, as the Canon Powershot SD430 wireless digital camera is compatible with USB 2.0 Hi-Speed that can transfer bulk data quickly to a computer, more comfortable camera operation is achieved.

Canon Powershot SD430 - Wireless transmission
If you install the software included on the Canon Digital Camera Solution Disk on a wireless capable computer, you can establish a wireless connection between the SD430 camera and the computer. If you set up a wireless connection to a computer, you can transfer images you have already taken to the computer, but you can also shoot images and transfer them to the computer immediately (Auto Transfer), automatically print out transferred images, and even operate the camera's shutter button from the computer. If you attach the supplied wireless print adapter to a PictBridge compliant printer, you can print images taken with the camera after transferring them to the printer over a wireless connection. It is also possible to print via a cable connection.
