 TVisto multimedia video drive review at I4U : I4U, the Future Technology News website, has reviewed the TVisto HDTV Video drive. The TVisto is a multimedia center that let you store your files and data on TVisto and enjoy your personal movies, music or photos on the big screen. TVisto supports all standard video formats, including MPEG-1 (AVI, MPG), MPEG-2 (AVI, VOB), MPEG-4 (AVI, DivX, XviD) and even uncompressed high quality ISO files. It also lets you backup your music files and listen to them through the TV speaker or your existing audio system. During playback the TVisto Video drive gives you detailed file information, supporting WAV, MP3, MPEG-4 (AAC), WMA and AC3 files. I4U informs you about the TVisto multimedia center.

 I4U review TVisto HDTV drive
According to I4U: "The TVisto is geared towards using it as a multimedia server. I focused on the use of the TVisto as a digital DVD server. The TVisto also can play mp3 and wma audio files and display photos, but I think the only reason to buy this device is to watch movies either downloaded from the Internet or copied from your DVD collection. Watching the copied DVD via the TVisto on my TV makes no difference than watching it from the disc. The TVisto user interface is very simple."

I4U continues: "On the remote control are the usual functions available known from DVD players. So yes I really can imagine to use the TVisto as a digital movie jukebox. The other use that would be more interesting for me is to watch movies and TV shows downloaded from the Internet. The TVisto is a solid performing multimedia hard-drive enclosure.
