SanDiskSanDisk appoints Milo Azarmsa as Vice President : SanDisk Corporation today announced the appointment of Milo Azarmsa as Vice President, Operations Finance. In this newly created position, Azarmsa heads SanDisk’s finance and accounting teams for worldwide sales, marketing, operations and R&D. He reports directly to Judy Bruner, Chief Financial Officer. Azarmsa’s responsibilities include financial management, planning and compliance for worldwide sales regions, operations centers and business lines. In addition, Azarmsa will focus on developing systems and infrastructure to support future growth.

Bruner said, “Our position in retail channels combined with our broadening product lines and end markets necessitate that we have someone of Milo’s financial management skills and experience to manage our growth opportunities to the fullest. With his strong background in financial analysis and controls, he will be a valuable member of our senior management team.” Most recently, Azarmsa was Vice President of Finance and Controller for worldwide sales at Palm Inc. Prior to Palm, he has held financial and business development positions at Verifone, Pacific Telesis and VoiceCom Systems.

Milo Azarmsa - Career
His industry experience includes telecommunications, retail and enterprise sales, and consumer products. Azarmsa holds an MBA from California State University at Hayward and a BA from Abadan Institute of Technology. He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst, (CFA).
