Wacom appoints Guy Martin for UK and Ireland : Wacom, the leading manufacturer of Wacom pen tablets and interactive pen displays, today announces the appointment of Guy Martin as area sales manager UK and Ireland. Based in the UK, the new role reflects the importance placed on increasing support for distribution partners, Wacom has also employed local sales managers in Germany, France and Spain. The company also intends to provide more direct contact and support for major customers and strategic partners. The newly appointed sales manager will be responsible for driving market development in the UK and Ireland through the channel, for both Wacom’s consumer and professional pen solutions.

He is also tasked with developing relationships with key players in those markets and supporting local distribution partners. Guy has a strong background in the photo, graphics and retail markets. Prior to joining Wacom, he was channel manager pro graphics at Epson where he was responsible for sales and marketing initiatives. Before this, Guy worked at Kodak for over ten years where he was initially a technical sales representative for the graphics imaging systems division, followed by business development manager for printing and publishing imaging. He brings extensive experience of these key markets to his role at Wacom.
