"With more consumers using iPods and other digital devices such as cameras and mobile phones which accept flash memory cards, EDGE saw an opportunity to combine two products into one new, unique design," said Sigona. The attractive Edge Dock & Multi Flash Card Reader is made for the iPod nano, iPod mini, iPod photo, and the original iPod. The device reads all popular flash card formats including xD Picture Card, SD Memory Cards, MultiMedia (MMC) Cards, Memory Stick, Memory Stick PRO, Memory Stick Duo, SmartMedia Cards, Type I/II CompactFlash Cards, and IBM Microdrive. The Edge Dock & Multi Flash Card Reader for iPod utilizes a USB 2.0 interface (backwards compatible to USB 1.1) for high-speed transfers between a computer and flash cards.
