DigITJust freshly posted by our good friend Kai Thon from the Norwegian website DigIT; the new Minolta DiMAGE G400 camera. Some months ago Konica Minolta introduced their first joined brand-named camera the G500. Until now it is not sure whether this model will also be introduced on the European market, at least it will make its appearance on the Japanese and American market. Introducing a Minolta brand-only camera we can almost be sure that this version will make it to all the markets of the world. According to the information Kai mentioned in his article, the new Minolta DiMAGE G400 camera features a 4 Megapixels CCD and a 3x optical zoom. Furthermore, speed seems to be the keyword for this new model.
News from DigIT: new Minolta DiMAGE G400 camera Due to the development of a complete new processor the camera's start-up time is among the worlds fastest. The case of the G400 camera is thin and the lens is covered by a stylish sliding cover. The major goal of the new model seems to be to develop new thinner and smaller components to keep the dimensions of the camera very compact. For example; when the 3x optical zoom is fully extracted the total length is only 23mm. The weight of the camera is 145g. More detailed information and specifications can be found on the DigIT website, so what are you waiting for?
