KodakKodak EasyShare V550 digital camera review : Now that Kodak stopped manufacturing digital SLR cameras, the entire series of digital cameras consists of EasyShare digital camera models. EasyShare does exactly what the name tells you: easy sharing of pictures. Core of the system is the docking station. You place the camera in the station and pushing the button once sends your photos to email, hard drive or printer. It works as simple as it sounds. Within the EasyShare series, Kodak distinguishes some series, depending on the target group. The top model of the pocket series is the Kodak EasyShare V550. We got the change to test the Kodak digital camera in practise, and our experiences can be found in the following review.
Kodak EasyShare V550 reviewKodak EasyShare Photo Frame Dock 2
Crafted to capture every pose, the EasyShare V550 camera is equipped with 5-megapixel (MP) resolution for prints up to 20 x 30 inches. The included Kodak EasyShare Photo Frame Dock 2, which provides one-touch picture transfer to a connected computer while keeping the cameras' high-capacity battery charged and ready to go, can play video and photo 'slideshows' on the cameras' high-resolution LCD screens, providing an additional degree of elevated design and innovation to EasyShare V-Series camera owners.

Kodak Easy-Share V550 - Beautiful and neatly finished camera
Within the unsurpassed Kodak EasyShare system the Kodak EasyShare V550 takes up a prominent place. It's a beautiful and neatly finished camera with specifications that will appeal to many people. Kodak has actually used some good components here. Not only their own ones, like the EasyShare system but also from others. The excellent Schneider Kreuznach lens is a perfect example of it. Just as great is the huge monitor on the back of the camera. It enhances the photographic joy tremendously.

Kodak V550 camera - EasyShare Software
Kodak V-series cameras, like the EasyShare V550, include Kodak EasyShare software for Windows and Macintosh systems, providing effortless digital picture organization, editing, sharing and printing - and even CD and DVD burning. The exclusive One Touch to Better Pictures feature takes advantage of proprietary color technologies developed by Kodak to help users get vibrant, true-to-life prints from inkjet printers. Version 5.0 features new video editing tools that allow people to quickly and simply trim, splice, rotate and add music to videos.

Kodak EasyShare V550 review
The Kodak V550's trendy appearance is thrown into the competition with lifestyle cameras from brands like Sony, Nikon and Canon, among other ones. It definitely isn't an easy task to stay in the race. But if you have a close look at the EasyShare V550 you will soon get attracted to its beautiful appearance. Kodak is aiming their V550 principally at women. Our experiences with the camera and the EasyShare system can be read in the Kodak EasyShare V550 review by clicking on the link below.
