BenQ PE7700 home theatre projector awarded by EISA : BenQ has been awarded the EISA Best Product 2005-2006 Award for its latest generation of video projector. The PE7700 beat all competitor products to scoop the prestigious award in to be presented in Berlin on 1st September, confirming the BenQ brand name as a major player in home theatre projectors. EISA is the largest editorial multimedia organization in Europe, comprising of 50 magazines across 20 European countries. Each year EISA members come together to vote for the best product across a number of multimedia disciplines. EISA judges said ‘Its multiple connection options, great technical features and modern design ensure the BenQ PE7700 is a classic in the making’.

BenQ PE7700 - Senseye technology
A key feature of the PE7700 is Senseye technology. Senseye digital-enhancement technology automatically and dynamically improves image quality, adjusts brightness and darkness levels, performs colour-mapping procedures, and reduces jagged edges on images. Senseye also adjusts contrast, colour and sharpness settings, which significantly enhances the display of pictures and graphics-intensive applications such as gaming, digital photos, entertainment and professional multimedia presentations.
BenQ projector - Other features
The PE7700 also benefits from the installation of micro-dust filters that aid in the prevention of air particles damaging the DMD chipsets, resulting in a digital projector that is designed for long-lasting operation with consistent image quality. PE7700 renders superb pictures from the latest high-definition-equipped AV components. Further enhancements include the DLP-based HD2+ DMD chipset from Texas Instruments, 1100 ANSI lumens of brightness, a 2500:1 contrast ratio and 6-segment colour wheel that displays up to 16.7 million colours, ensuring the ultimate home theatre experience.
BenQ PE7700 - Specifications
The PE7700 digital home cinema projector features a high WXGA resolution (1280x720), produces a 100-inch image at a 9.8 feet throw ratio and has brightness levels of 1000 ANSI lumens. The unit weighs approximately 5.5 kilo, and the casing dimensions are 15” (wide) x 4.5” (height) x 11.8” (deep). The PE7700 includes BNC (x5), RCA (video), S-Video, component (RCAx3) and HDMI (with HDCP x1) connectors.
