HPHP Deskjet 5440 photo printer : HP announced HP Deskjet 5440 photo printer, a versatile printer that makes it easy for everyone to print high quality, long lasting photos. Designed for people who enjoy sharing photos with friends and want the printing process to be as easy as possible, the HP 5440 printer offers the key benefit of being able to print photos as easily as it does letters, e-mail, postcards and greeting cards. Users can produce a 10 x 15cm photo in as fast as 27 seconds. Users can also print on any size of photo paper from 10 x 15cm right up to large panorama (215 x 610mm). By using HP Vivera Inks, users can print in 4-ink or in optional 6-ink colors for photos that will resist fading for generations.

The HP Deskjet 5440 printer includes HP Real Life technologies, a range of automatic tools that can be used to further improve images. These tools allow users to automatically remove red-eye from their photos and brighten up poorly lit images using the HP Adaptive Lighting feature. PictBridge-enabled digital cameras can be connected via the printer’s front port for convenient printing without having to switch on the computer. When using a PC, HP Image Zone software allows quick and simple editing, archiving and sharing of images by email.

HP Deskjet 5440 - Easy and Versatile
While capable of printing outstanding quality photos, the HP Deskjet 5440 Photo Printer is equally good when used for everyday tasks. This printer produces everything from web pages to school projects and professional quality business documents, complete with crisp, sharp colour graphics. Print speeds are impressive too, with black & white pages printing at up to 22 pages per minute (ppm) and colour at up to 21 ppm. Further convenient features include the ink back up mode and a one touch ‘print cancel’ button to help minimise paper waste. A 100 sheet fold up tray enables easy storage and transportation.
