ACD FotoAngelo and FotoCanvas now multi-lingual

ACD Systems International Inc, the digital imaging company, and makers of ACDSee, today announced the release of ACD FotoAngelo and ACD FotoCanvas in French, Italian, German, and Spanish languages and markets. ACD FotoAngelo enables users to combine digital images, sound, text and transitional effects to create and share slideshows and screensavers. ACD FotoCanvas is a flexible photo touch-up editor that enables users to easily enhance their digital photos with tools such as red-eye removal, rotate, resize, crop, adjust exposure and apply artistic effects. These products will be available through ACD’s electronic software distribution (ESD) sales channel.

The release of the localized versions of ACD FotoAngelo and ACD FotoCanvas was made available due to the success of other popular ACD localized products such as ACDSee 5.0, ACDSee 5.0 PowerPack, ACD VideoMagic and ACD mPower Tools. According to InfoTrends Research Group, the digital camera market in Europe is expected to grow at a compound annual rate of 17% through 2007 to 14.0 million units.
Additionally, InfoTrends expects that in 2003 the total camera market (analog film cameras and digital cameras, excluding one-time use cameras) in Europe is expected to reach 24.4 million units. Digital cameras are expected to capture 26% of the total camera market, an increase from 18% in 2001. (InfoTrends Research Group, February 2003)
