OlympusOlympus P-11 photo printer : While a huge advantage of digital photography is the possibility to see the shots immediately after being taken, nothing really can match the tangibility of a real photo to make a genuinely lasting impression. Rather than needing to crowd around the camera’s LCD or computer monitor, printed photographs can be conveniently passed around for everyone to see in their full glory and then placed in photo albums for viewing whenever desired. Thankfully, high-quality paper photos can be produced at any time in the home. And best of all, with the Olympus P-11 dye-sublimation printer, copies of life’s special moments can printed out as real photos and shared with friends and family in next to no time.
Olympus P-11 photo printerP-11 printer - Dye-sublimation
All it takes is 33 seconds for magnificent 10x15cm borderless prints, which makes the P-11 the fastest dye-sublimation photo printer available. The Olympus P11 delivers first-class printing results that can rival those of professional photo labs. The astonishing quality comes thanks to the dye-sublimation printing process. Up to 16.77 million continuous colour tones are diffused into the paper to return photos with true-to-life gradations, something most ink-jet printers are incapable of achieving no matter how high their dpi-count is.

Olympus P11 photo printer - PictBridge support
The glossy, borderless A6 (10x15cm) prints are produced within a miniscule 33 seconds. They are UV-resistant and – unlike the normal prints from photo labs, even automatically laminated to guard against environmental influences such as sunlight, dust, humidity and staining. Any camera supporting the PictBridge standard can be directly attached to the Olympus P-11 for completely PC-free printing. Nevertheless, this latest Olympus product is also equipped with a USB interface. It lets images that have been edited or previously stored on a computer be printed out with ease.

Olympus P-11 dye-sublimation printer - Availability
Measuring just 184.2 x 180.0 x 157.6mm (WxDxH), this attractively-designed photo printer has a remarkably small footprint. And to save additional shelf or desk-top real estate, the tray is located on top of the unit. Providing photo-quality prints in a flash, the Olympus P-11 dye-sublimation photo printer also convinces with it stylish good looks and a very affordable price tag. It will be available from autumn 2005.
