The new Canon i960 Photo Printer has been introduced in the first week of September. The 'ink' isn't dry yet and Steve already has his review of this new Canon printer finished and online! The Canon i960 printer has a very high density print head (3,072 nozzles) for its class and is capable of precisely firing up to 73.7 million 2 picoliters droplets per second. Combining this print head precision with Canon's six ink printing system the i960 photo printer is a natural for creating grain free photo prints with unsurpassed clarity, contrast, colour range, and tone. Is it capable of bringing the theory into practice? Well Steve of the well-known website Steve's Digicams has got some answers on this one.

To quote Steve "The i9100 printer creates photo-quality prints that will satisfy most anyone's needs. However, if you're one of those people (like me) that just isn't happy unless you have the absolute best -- I'll see you at the checkout line. I said in my i950 review that Canon couldn't make this printer any faster, I stand corrected because they did. If you own one of the new PictBridge compatible or Bubblejet Direct Canon digital cameras you'll love the Direct Printing feature. No hassling with the computer, just plug the camera's USB cable into the printer and print! I am now waiting to see if Canon comes out with a wide-carriage version of the i960, that would be awesome!"
