IntemosIMS StikCap dust protection : StikCap, a unique product that helps eliminate dust from (digital) camera lenses and (digital) camera bodies, is launched by IMS. A disc of specially formulated sticky micro-weave fabric, StikCap from IMS is designed to fit inside front and rear lens caps to extract any dust as they are moved about. StikCap is also designed to be used inside body caps to extract dust from the chamber and sensor areas of both traditional film and digital SLR cameras. StikCap lasts for approximately three months and is easy to remove and replace. “This is our latest product in our war on dust,” said IMS managing director Andrew Stagg. The new product is available world-wide now.
IMS StikCap dust protection StikCap - Cheap and Effective
“We have developed a number of successful applications for removing dust after it has got into digital cameras and lenses, but StikCap provides the first line of defense in helping to stop dust become a problem in the first place. Digital cameras get shaken around when you carry them on foot, in the car or anywhere. But, by placing a StikCap in lens and SLR body caps, the dust is shaken onto the disc where it stays, permanently.”

StikCap - Availability and Price
StikCap is available world-wide from the IMS website at a cost of £6.95 in the UK, $12.95 in the US and €12.95 in Europe for a set of five. This will give dust protection for two lenses and one body cap. A larger pack (of ten) is available for £12.95, $23.95, €23.95, which will protect five lenses or two bodies and four lenses.
