AnsmannAnsmann accessoires during IFA 2005 : Ansmann, founded by Edgar Ansmann in 1991, will introduce some new products during the upcoming IFA 2005 event. This 2-years event will take place in Berlin where LetsGoDigital report live from the show floor. The first new product Ansmann will introduce is the Pocket Power charger set. This microprocessor controlled smart charger has 2 battery charging boxes (1 box for 1-4 AA/1box for 1-4 AAA). The Pocket charger has a switch mode power supply (100-240V for worldwide use), incl. changeable primary plugs (EU/USA/UK). It comes with a 12V DC Car cigarette lighter adaptor for mobile use and 4x AA 2400 NiMH high performance cells. Its compact design makes is perfect for traveling.

The second introduction is an Universal charger for NiCd/NiMH cells size AA or AAA, as well as 3.6V and 7.2 V Li-Ion battery packs for digital cameras. With the 2 additional adaptor plates it is possible to connect to most of the battery packs available for digital cameras, as well as AA / AAA rechargeable batteries. Microcontroller controlled charging for all charging technologies, faulty cell detection, and automatic matching to the battery voltage are the most important features. LED charging indicator plus sounder informs the user about the charging status. Incl. AC and DC adaptor for home and mobile use. Charging current: 800mA. 3 years warranty.

Ansmann Energy Check LCD - Test meter
The last introduction is an easy to use test meter for checking the capacity of all kinds of batteries and rechargeable batteries in a quick time. After connecting the battery the capacity of the battery will be shown in 10%-steps within 2-3 seconds. Also the real voltage of the battery will be shown in mV. You can check following battery-types: Lithium Button cells 3V: CR1025 / CR 1216 / CR 1220 / CR 1616 / CR 1620 / CR 2016 / CR 2025 / CR 2032 / CR 320 / CR 2430 / CR 2450. Lithium Photo batteries: CR 2 / CR 123 A / CRV 3 / CRP-2 / 2CR 5. Alkaline Button cells: V76 / V625 / LR 43 / LR 44 / LR 45 / LR 48 / LR 54 / LR 55 / LR 59 / LR 58 / LR 60 / LR 66. Zinc-Air Button cells: V675 / V 13 / V 312. Alkaline batteries: A 23 (12V) / AAA / AA / C / D / 9V and NiCd and NiMH cells: AAA / AA / C / D.
