The website gives customers the ability to design their own Photo Candle gifts online. Photo Candles are custom designed candles manufactured with an image and text inside. "With our new website, we are giving everyone the ability to create their own unique, personalized, Photo Candle gifts. Our online Photo Candle Design Center gives customers control throughout the design process," states Sabine Goodrich, owner of Goody Candles. In the past, production of Photo Candles has taken two weeks or more between finalizing designs and manufacturing. Now, production time has been cut by 50 percent due to bringing the design process online and giving ultimate control to the customer. "Unfortunately, prior to the launch of website, we would have to turn away some eleventh-hour business during our busy times but now, we welcome those requests. Be it last minute Photo Candles for birthdays, wedding and event centerpieces or quick turnaround corporate function and promotion orders, we can accommodate any situation," explains Michael Goodrich, Vice President of Sales & Marketing. "Our website is opening up new business channels for our company's continued growth."
Create "The Glow" Inside Your Photo Candle
When lighting your Photo Candle for the first time, let the wax pool reach no less than 1/4" from the candle’s edge, extinguish the flame and allow the candle to harden before relighting. This will prevent leaking by building a strong shell around the Photo Candle's perimeter. Do not burn your Photo Candle for more than 3-4 hours. As you continue using your Photo Candle you will notice that it burns down through the center and the shell of the candle stays intact. The flame will be behind the image and will create, what we at Goody Candles call, "The Glow" from within. When you see your image glowing you will completely understand what we mean when we say, "Light Up Your Life."
