 Imation features full range of flash products : Imation Corp, , a world leader in data storage media, will feature a full range of premium optical and flash products aimed to help business users create, store, transport and share high-capacity, valuable files, at the Digital Experience event on June 27, 2005 at New York City's Metropolitan Pavilion, prior to the C3 Expo. The company will also offer a preview of a first-of-its kind micro hard drive; details will be announced July 6, 2005. "Business users need products that provide added protection and additional time-saving features for their busy, on-the-go lives," said Carla Pihowich, U.S. marketing manager, consumer and office products, Imation.

"Imation provides products like the Disc Stakka CD & DVD Manager, CDs and DVDs with ForceField protection, LightScribe discs and Swivel Flash Drives to easily save, carry and distribute important files." Launched last year in Australia and the UK, and new to North America, the Imation Disc Stakka CD & DVD Manager is an automated carousel that stores, protects, manages and retrieves up to 100 CDs and DVDs per unit. Capable of stacking up to five units high to create a tower using built-in connectors, over 100 towers can be connected via powered USB hubs to manage more than 50,000 discs from one Windows or Macintosh computer. Packaged with OpdiTracker Disc Management Software that creates "virtually online" access to discs and files, users can search their discs by title, keyword, directory or file name to identify and eject any disc within seconds. When a new disc is placed in a computer's disc drive, the software automatically recognizes it and allows users to add the disc's name and contents to the database. The disc can then be safely stored for quick retrieval. For additional security, OpdiTracker software provides password protection and prompts users to record the name of the user.
