ColorvisionColorVision Spyder2 Plus review : ColorVision announced the ColorVision Spyder2 Plus software in the beginning of this year. Introducing it as a virtual 'Darkroom in a Box' we were curious about its performance and not less important its user-friendliness. In a world where images are getting more and more important the way they are displayed stays very important too. The Spyder2 Plus software is created for the hobbyist, serious amateur or the desktop designer. The monitor is the most important device within your digital work flow to judge your images whether it is needed to edit them or not. Of course the way colors are displayed on your screen says everything about a successful end result or not.

During our review we have learned that Spyder2 Plus makes color management much more easier. Spyder2 Plus software includes Spyder2, a highly accurate, color sensor that delivers precise color correction for CRT, LCD and laptop displays, Spyder2 color monitor calibration software and ProfilerPLUS software, which creates color-printing profiles. We have received a review sample of the Spyder2 Plus software and decided to have a go with it to re-calibrate our own digital work flow.

Spyder2 Plus - Box content

The software is easy to understand and with the free Adobe Photoshop Elements 3.0 you will have a cool software tool to manage/edit your own digital images. To start you color management tour; Just install the software, it will take you only some minutes, place the sensor on your LCD or CRT screen, and run the software.

ColorVision Spyder2 Plus review
We were very pleased with the Spyder 2 Plus software. It makes color management easy and it will cost you almost no time to do the job. We have noticed a remarkable difference between an uncalibrated screen and the final result after you have used Spyder2. It just handles all the important settings you may forget during your time behind the screen. The Spyder 2 Plus software package is definitely worthwhile and is the right solution for anyone who likes to get the best out his editing work.
