This new digital SLR camera is one of the latest Nikon digital cameras that were announced lately. DigitalReview.ca are one of the first, we also have published an exclusive preview on the day of announcement, who were able publishing a series of samples of the new Nikon digital camera. The series of samples were taken under a variety of different camera settings and conditions. The images are all captured using the AF-S DX Nikkor 18-70mm IF-ED zoom lens, the Nikkor AF 50mm F1.8D or the new AF-S DX Zoom Nikkor 18-55mm lens.

According to DigitalReview.ca: "The images that we took at higher ISO sensitivity settings on the D50 turned out quite clean, with well suppressed high ISO noise even at 1600 ISO. A great advantage if you want to take pictures under specific dim lighting conditions, including; shooting hand held with low available light, when a higher shutter speed is required to capture the action (indoor sports), or in situations when a flash is not allowed", "as seen from the above sample images, the Nikon D50 digital SLR certainly offers good image quality, with richly saturated colors, good detail, and well controlled in-camera image processing."

DigitalReview.ca - Final conclusion
By publishing their latest series of sample images DigitalReview concludes: "Overall, we must say we really like the Nikon D50. The camera features a nice grip, the large 2.0-inch LCD monitor is clear and sharp, and the camera controls are logically laid out, allowing for all round comfortable operation.", "The Nikon D50 digital SLR will undoubtedly create a whole new legion of happy digital SLR photographers, and will likely serve as a lightweight back up camera to many existing users of other Nikon digital SLR's." LetsGoDigital has a brand new Nikon D50 DSLR camera at the office. You can expect a full review within a short period from now! In the meantime visit DigitalReview.ca to have a look at their samples!
