SamsungSamsung Digimax A502 digital camera introduction : Samsung Camera has announced that it will release a 5 megapixel high-resolution digital camera with 5X digital zoom to drive penetration of the important 5 megapixel sector. The Samsung Digimax A502 is a 5 megapixel high-resolution digital camera with 5x digital zoom (7x zoom during playback mode) that can be used for a wide range of photographic purposes. Its compact design makes it easy to carry it around as well(dimensions: 96.5x52.5x29.7 and Weight approximately 105 grams. With enhanced video recording capability, (on which more and more emphasis is being placed), the Samsung Digimax A502 supports video recording in VGA resolution at 24/15 frames per second.

You can record a movie clip at VGA resolution and then play it on your TV without any loss of video quality. You can also play it on your PC screen at twice the size of conventional clips. 24 fps means you can record a smoother movie. With 4 different scene modes - Night Scene, Portrait, Landscape and Fireworks you can produce clearer pictures by choosing the appropriate mode for each individual situation.

Digimax A502 - 1.8" colour TFT LCD
The Digimax A502 allows you to display a desired picture on the LCD screen after adjusting its size. In addition to video recording, the Samung A502 provides various functions such as voice recording for movie narration, general voice recording and voice memo for adding voice to a regular photo. Employing a 1.8" colour TFT LCD monitor and an easy to use menu system, the Samsung A502 is a user-friendly digital camera that can be used by anyone without difficulty. It also supports PictBridge, a direct printing system that links to a printer in real time via a USB cable, without the need for a PC.

Samsung A502 - Trimming function
For a special photography experience, a White Balance function allows you to select from various light settings including Automatic, Sunlight, Cloudy, Sunset, Fluorescent H, Fluorescent L, Incandescent and User-defined. In addition, 9 different types of Photo frame are provided for more photo fun. The Samsung Digimax A502 also provides a built-in image editing function, allowing you to edit a variety of images without a PC. You can use the Trimming function to cut an unwanted portion of an image, saving only the part you want. When you are short of memory, you can use the Resizing function to recover memory space by resizing and saving images in a smaller size. You can use the Rotating function to rotate an image in a desired direction and save it.

Samsung Digimax A502 - Secure Digital and Multi Media Card support
The Digimax A502 is equipped with a built-in memory (16MB), allowing you to save pictures without a memory card. It also provides an Secure Digital and Multi Media Card (SD/MMC) slot to add even more memory capacity. With the Copy to Card function, you can seamlessly transfer images saved in the internal memory to an external memory. The Samsung A502 also provides various useful functions such as voice recording for up to 1 hour, voice memo for adding a short voice message to a picture and "One-touch Playback" for instant playback of a picture even when the power is off.
