OlympusYou have the drinks, food and music, the invites are out, now all you need is the new CAMEDIA P-10 digital photo printer from Olympus. Compact, stylishly designed and delivering borderless A6 photo prints in around 40 seconds, it adds a fun element to any party. Your guests can enjoy print-outs of snaps taken moments before and can later show them to those who couldn’t be there. And you don’t even need a PC to print. Support of the new PictBridge communication standard allows direct printing from any compatible camera. It is also ideal for the home office or even a commercial passport photo service. Delivering first-class photo prints at a very attractive price, the P-10 printer from Olympus gives you every reason to celebrate.
Quality has priority in this compact printer. It produces laminated prints that really impress with their stunning photo-realism, whether to document memorable private moments or produce print-outs for professional purposes. When you see the results, it may at first be hard to believe that the printer has a resolution of 310 dpi – which is much less than those of the ink-jets you so often read about in magazines. However, this is not an ink-jet printer and therefore the numbers cannot be compared. It uses a completely different technology. Dye-sublimation also produces continuous colour tones, something most ink-jet printers aren’t capable of generating – no matter how many dpi they have. In addition, photos printed with the dye-sublimation method are resistant to environmental influences such as light, humidity and staining, ensuring that the pictures impress even years later.

And it’s not only the prints that are a joy to look at. Measuring just 180 x 180 x 160mm, the P-10 from Olympus has discarded the dull, practical designs of many other printers. Instead, it boasts a stylish, eye-catching exterior.

Direct printing is possible with cameras that support the new PictBridge communications standard. Furthermore, the USB interface enables connection to the computer for editing shots before printing (Mac OS is not supported).

A real bundle of fun at a price that makes you smile
The CAMEDIA P-10 printer will also be available in a special package together with a PictBridge (Direct Printing Standard) compatible CAMEDIA camera this autumn. Both give you top performance, fantastic results and direct printing ease for maximum photographic enjoyment as well as fast and profitable business solutions and services.

Some specifications of the Olympus P-10 printer are: A6 size prints (148mm×100mm), completely borderless printing, prints in 44 seconds, 310dpi dye-sublimation resolution, max. image size 12 million pixels (TIFF 10 million pixels), PictBridge (Direct Printing Standard) compatible and USB interface.
