LexarLexar Media teams up with Ubisoft : Lexar Media announced it has teamed up with Ubisoft, for a major value-add promotion tied to the highly anticipated release of Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Chaos Theory for the PC platform. Beginning April 4 and running through June 15, 2005, purchasers of Lexar JumpDrive 1GB or 2GB USB flash drive will be able to enjoy a pre-loaded single game level of Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Chaos Theory for the PC along with other specially created game content for the PC platform. Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Chaos Theory is Ubisoft's third instalment of the critically acclaimed Tom Clancy Splinter Cell franchise - recognized as one of the industry's most advanced and innovative gaming experiences.

The Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Chaos Theory promotion with Lexar will be communicated to consumers at retail through a variety of in-store promotional materials, as well as through a colourful promotional burst on the JumpDrive packaging. "This promotion with Ubisoft represents a breakthrough in the convergence of USB flash drive technology tied to a highly anticipated new game title," said Theresa Boldrini, Lexar Director of Retail Marketing.

In addition to the pre-loaded Tom Clancy's Splinter Chaos Theory single game level for PC, purchasers of select Lexar 1GB and 2GB JumpDrive products will receive extras that include exclusive branded gaming wallpapers for the PC, a game screensaver, a "Strategy Guide" provided by Prima, as well as a special Lexar promotion that offers consumers a free Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Chaos Theory t-shirt with the purchase of another Lexar product, including the company's advanced digital music players and more.
