At 25 pages-per-minute, the Canon DR-2580C color document scanner specifically targets the U.S. workgroup market, which is expected to grow between 30-40 percent over the next three years, the highest rate among document management scanner seg- ments. The Canon DR-5010C scanner, which targets production-volume en- vironments, scans in both color and black-and-white at a constant rate of 50 ppm, as well as 100 images-per-minute (ipm) in duplex scanning at the industry standard of 200dpi resolution.

Canon DR-5010C and DR-2580C scanner - Rich software bundle
"The power of Canon's high-speed DR-series scanner line goes beyond the benefits of speed, functionality and reliability offered by the scanner itself," said Mark Machida, director of Image Filing Systems Division for Canon U.S.A., "Combined with bundled software applications, including CapturePerfect 3.0 and Adobe Acrobat 7.0, the scanner's potential becomes truly recognizable as a quick, efficient and easy-to-use document capture and management solution.
