NikonNikon launched NikonNet Website to Share Photos : No more re-sizing digital pictures to send them to friends and family. No more emails with multiple photos attached. Nikon Inc. today launched the easiest way to share photos - PictureProject In Touch. It's Nikon's new user-friendly solution to the most common issues digital photographers face when sharing pictures. PictureProject In Touch is a free desktop software application, available today via download on NikonNet.com and included with the newest version 1.5 of PictureProject image management software, which enables the fast, seamless and easy transfer of pictures between a sender and one or more recipients and can be viewed as full-screen slide shows with the click of a button.

NikonNet - Workflow
A streamlined relationship between the In Touch application and PictureProject software is the key to the simplicity of this technology. The user simply selects pictures in PictureProject that he or she wants to share. PictureProject then launches In Touch, and transfers a temporary folder containing the selected images to the recipient's computer through In Touch. Recipients can get full-resolution, print-quality pictures from the sender, without the hassle of dealing with email attachment size limits, or quickly and easily receive screen-resolution pictures for viewing.
