PanasonicPanasonic NV-GS35 camcorder introduction : Panasonic has set new standards with the world's most powerful optical zoom in super-compact camcorders. With the new Panasonic NV-GS35 camcorder's 30x zoom, it is possible to make recordings, which are equivalent to both a 35mm wide-angle and an enormous 1072mm telescopic lens on a 35mm camera! Panasonic camcorders are designed for simple and intuitive operation. Control buttons, which in earlier models were mounted on the rear of the LCD monitor, are now integrated with-in the LCD display, and can be operated with one hand using the multiple language menu and a joystick. The subject can therefore be kept in the viewfinder while settings are being changed.

A video-class-compatible USB 2.0 high-speed interface with DV streaming, and the video editing software supplied, make transferring data and editing movies a pleasure with the top-of-the-range Panasonic NV-GS35 camcorder. Digital photos are recorded on the tiny Secure Digital card. A further improvement is the power LCD, which nearly doubles the brightness of the display at the touch of a button. With the Panasonic NV-GS35, an integral LED video light enables recordings to be made even in poor lighting conditions. A particularly convenient feature is the new Quick Start, which makes you ready to shoot in 1.7 seconds.

Panasonic NV-GS35 - 30x optical zoom
The lens of the Panasonic NV-GS35, with its range of local lengths from 1.9 mm to 57 mm (equivalent to 35.7 mm to 1,072 mm with a 35mm camera) is not only the most powerful zoom in a consumer camcorder, but is also distinguished by extremely low distortion. The joystick makes the camera much easier to use, letting you control all basic operations with one hand. As you shoot, just watch the image in the monitor and follow the instructions in the menu guide. Operations can be carried out quickly and easily without even taking your eye off the subject for a moment. The information in the On Screen Display (OSD) can be displayed in eight languages (English, German, French, Italian, Spanish, Dutch, Swedish and Polish). You can choose to view information in the language you prefer for easy, comfortable operation.

Panasonic NV-GS35 - Built-in LED video light
When the lighting is no longer sufficient, with the Panasonic NV-GS35 camcorder you can turn on the built-in LED video light to take crisp, colourful movies. LED (light emitting diode) technology has low power consumption, long service life and the safety of a low operating temperature. Right at the start, the "Pure Colour Engine" LSI chip converts the CCD output signal, which still combines all three colours, into an RGB signal, which contains the three primary colours red, green and blue. The low-frequency brightness signal is extracted and then optimised in the same way as in professional television. Advanced 3D noise reduction gives you better results when shooting in low lighting conditions, as it improves colour noise reduction performance by 30 percent compared with conventional systems. The innovative LSI achieves truly superb colour reproduction.

Panasonic NV-GS35 - USB 2.0 Hi-speed interface
The USB 2.0 high-speed compatibility enables DV data to be streamed to the PC using a single USB cable. In addition, "Video Class Compatibility" for Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition/Professional, SP2 or later versions enables DV video data to be transferred in real-time using the same USB cable. The MotionDV STUDIO 5.3 LE video editing software provided simplifies the editing of video footage on the PC, so that you can produce professional-looking movies by easy editing of the raw material. Special effects or music can be added at will, simply by following the instructions in the Help mode.
