DIWA AwardsSanDisk Extreme 3 DIWA Innovation Award : LetsGoDigital, member and co-founder of the DIWA Awards organisation, was honoured to be part of the DIWA Awards ceremonies during the CeBIT 2005. As a representative of the DIWA (Digital Imaging Websites Association), a world-wide organisation of collaborating websites, together with Erik Kaper, General Manager of the DIWA Awards we handed over the prestigious DIWA Innovation Award for the SanDisk Extreme III series of flash memory cards. The DIWA Innovation Award for the SanDisk Extreme III series of flash memory cards was accepted by Ed Moro, Managing Director Sales SanDisk EMEA.
SanDisk Extreme 3 DIWA Innovation AwardSanDisk Extreme 3 - PMA and CeBIT
The DIWA Innovation Award was already handed over during the PMA to Tanya Chuang, Retail Product Marketing Manager and Bob Goligosky, Director of Public Relations, but to make sure the European division of SanDisk got its own version DIWA decided to hand over another copy to SanDisk at the CeBIT 2005 event.

SanDisk Extreme 3 - ESP technology
The SanDisk Extreme III cards use the newly developed ESP (Enhanced Super-Parallel Processing) technology. This is a groundbreaking development that provides the world's highest read and write speeds up to a minimum of 20MB/sec. High-end photographers are in constant search for fast storage products and SanDisk Extreme III is designed to fulfil this need. Beside significantly improved speed, the cards also feature extended operating temperature range, enabling them to work under virtual any condition. The ESP technology combines NAND Flash memory chips and 32-bit RISC processing controller chips. The new ESP has super-parallel write and read operations that are coupled with accelerated flash data bus architecture, allowing twice the transfer speed of an average card on today's market. Thanks to this new technology, the flash card will no longer be the bottleneck during data storage, which was often the case in the past.

SanDisk Extreme 3 - Conclusion
The DIWA organisation recognises the importance of this new technology and is therefore pleased to honour SanDisk's Extreme III product line with the DIWA Innovation Award. The new SanDisk Extreme 3 cards are already available on the market.
