NikonNikon Coolpix 7600 digital camera introduction : Nikon introduces the Nikon Coolpix 7600, a new digital camera with an impressive photo quality, packed with improved and new user-friendly functions. This versatile camera is specifically interesting for a broad range of users of all skills. The Nikon 7600's 7.1 effective megapixels resolution and a 3x Zoom-Nikkor ED (Extra Low Dispersion) lens with a zoom range of 38-114mm (equivalent of a 35mm camera), ensure sharp and clear images (also when cropping) on A3 format prints. Macro mode allows the user to shoot images as close as 4cm from the subject. The Nikon Coolpix 7600 is packed with innovative Nikon technologies.
Nikon Coolpix 7600 digital camera introductionNikon's exclusive D-Lighting function can be used in play back mode on images with too much backlight or insufficient flash light. Just pressing the button the camera itself will automatically add light and detail to the underexposed segments, while the light segments of the image remain untouched. Face-priority-AF is another particular function on the Nikon Coolpix 7600. In Portrait mode the camera automatically detects faces in the image and will focus on them and as a result providing you with excellent portrait images.

Nikon Coolpix 7600 - Red-eye reduction
Naturally we find the advanced red-eye reduction on the Nikon 7600, a function that detects and automatically recognizes red eyes which sometimes appear when capturing images using flash. The Nikon 7600 corrects red-eye inside the camera. As a result the most beautiful portraits can be captured effortlessly.

Nikon Coolpix 7600 - Movement warning
Finally we'd like to mention the camera movement warning, a function of the camera that warns users when an image failed because of camera jitter. It enables the user to shoot again and get a correct picture before leaving the shooting location.

Nikon Coolpix 7600 - Easy to use
The Nikon 7600 is surprisingly easy to use. The compact dimensions and comfortable hand grip ensure a remarkably comfortable manner of holding the camera. The newly designed Graphic User Interface (GUI) enables the user to select functions by means of a text or icon. A handy "help" button, easily spotted on the back of the camera, explains every function of the main menu, so you don't have to worry if you forgot to take the manual with you.

The Nikon Coolpix 7600 feels at home everywhere in the world because the menu is rendered in no less than 12 languages on the bright 1.8-inch 85.000 pixel LCD monitor, on which of course your images can be checked equally well. In addition, the Nikon Coolpix 7600 digital camera is developed to economize the energy household and is therefore very low on battery consumption.

Nikon Coolpix 7600 - Preset scenes
Just like the other models of the popular Coolpix product line, the Nikon 7600 is equipped with a number of preset scenes that offers a further ease of use. Everything the user has to do is select a subject mode which complies with the present subject, like Sunset or Portrait. The camera will take care of the optimum settings for a correct and beautiful image. Four of these preset scenes feature composition assistance which enables every photographer to achieve the best composition. A new function on the Nikon Coolpix 7600 digital camera is the BSS (Best Shot Function) copy function which is available in Copy mode. This will automatically activate BSS for sharp copies.

Nikon Coolpix 7600 - Video function
Besides recording incredible pictures, the Nikon Coolpix 7600 is also capable of recording video clips. The user has a choice from 5 record settings, of which two settings record with a speed of 30 fps. To obtain even better results, the Nikon Coolpix 7600 is equipped with Nikon's new Electronic VR (vibration reduction.) In times when it is difficult to keep the camera steady this function will stabilize the images. Connecting the camera onto a television set is easy so results can be shared with family and friends to get more fun out of your digital images.

Five different colour options allow the photographer to more creative shooting; these options enable changing the complete atmosphere of an image by selecting the sepia or cool blue setting prior to taking the picture. The Nikon 7600 also features approximately 14MB of internal memory which enables taking pictures without inserting an SD memory card into the camera.

Nikon Coolpix 7600 - Printing
Printing is also trouble-free with the Nikon Coolpix 7600. PictBridge compatibility enables printing without using a computer; you can print directly on a PictBridge compatible printer. The print format can be selected directly from the camera, very conveniently.

Nikon Coolpix 7600 - Software
Nikon's own PictureProject software comes with the Nikon Coolpix 7600, just like it did with the other Coolpix cameras. This software is extremely user-friendly and offers a wide range of versatile functions.

The Nikon Coolpix 7600 will be tested as soon as the camera is available, and we will provide you with a Nikon Coolpix 7600 digital camera review.
