Fujifilm FinePix S3 Pro digital camera review : Fujifilm announced the FinePix S3 Pro, successor to Fujifilm's critically-acclaimed FinePix S2 Pro digital SLR, one year ago. The Fujifilm S3 Pro has been conceived as the camera of choice for photographers who wish to achieve image quality worthy of Fujifilm's professional film heritage. The Fujifilm FinePix S3 Pro incorporates the new 4th Generation Super CCD SR II, with 12.34 million effective pixels (6.17 million S-pixels and 6.17 million R-pixels). Maximum image size is an ultra-high resolution of 12.1 million recording pixels, resulting in noticeable improvements in picture quality. The Super CCD SR II sensor's unique dual size pixel design produces expanded dynamic range.

This dramatically broadens tonal capability, and guarantees exceptional rendition from bright highlights to deep shadows. It delivers greater sensitivity, improved signal-to-noise ratio and consistently natural color reproduction.
Compared with the FinePix S2 Pro Fujifilm improved an awful lot and added some useful functions to the Fujifilm S3 Pro. It is obvious right away that the FinePix S3 Pro is a camera for the professional photographer. Speed is not the strongest side of the camera, to put it mildly. But then, speed is not of great importance to the portrait, wedding and nature photographer. He needs high resolution and the Fujifilm S3 Pro delivers 12 Megapixels which is the top at this moment. And of course the camera has an attractive price tag. It's a good alternative for the Kodak Pro SLR/n and the Nikon D2H for example. Although the other cameras have different strong points.
Resuming we can say that the Fujifilm FinePix S3 Pro is an excellent product, worth every penny! The camera is professional and offers sufficient possibilities. It is a camera you have to get accustomed with, but once you know this camera inside out, it proves to be a faithful companion..... Read our fulll review of this camera!
