Elegant design and a compact size make the Samsung SC-D557 the perfect option for busy families. The camcorder offers DVD-R and DVD-RW support and produces movies that are compatible with most DVD players. Users have the choice of recording standard DVD video or extending their recording time by capturing footage in MPEG4 format. The Samsung SC-D557 supports PC connectivity via USB 2.0 cable or standard IEEE1394 fire wire. A remote control allows users to operate the unit from a distance.
