SonySony Corporation of Hong Kong Limited unveiled the latest addition to the Cyber-shot T-series with the trendy DSC-T33. Cast in a gorgeous spectrum of silver, the DSC-T33 features subtle curves in its design to bring the style of Sony's T-series up another notch. Its brushed aluminum finishing completes the camera's design with an elegant luster. Featuring a large 2.5-inch LCD screen, the DSC-T33 is equipped with a Clear Photo LCD that improves the quality of image display by preventing reflected light from interfering with it. This means users will be able to view and take perfect shots in bright sunlight without having to squint. Moreover, the new LCD's higher contrast, brightness and resolution ensure more accurate color reproduction.
Sony introduces new Cyber-shot T33 cameraThe DSC-T33 includes a 5.1 Mega Pixel Super HAD CCD. To maintain its slim profile, the DSC-T33's Carl Zeiss Vario-Tessar lens operates internally rather than extending beyond the camera's body. Its 3X optical zoom and 12X SmartZoom (at VGA resolution) ensure great image quality, even when viewing images up close.

The DSC-T33 incorporates a built-in, electrically operated lens cover that opens instantly when the camera is activated. With a single push of the power button, it springs to life in under a second, ensuring that all spontaneous photo opportunities are captured in the camera. Sony's Real Imaging Processor circuit not only enhances picture quality and clarity, it also improves camera response time and improves battery stamina.

With optional Memory Stick PRO Duo, the camera captures and plays back high resolution moving images. MPEG Movie VX Fine mode allows users to record MPEG video with 640x480 pixel resolution at 30 frames per second, up to the capacity of the memory media card being used.

Always The Right Setting
This stylish new camera is also easy to use for everyone. Equipped with auto-focus and auto-exposure, even amateur photographers will be able to get their desired picture the first time. There are also several settings to choose from, depending on the shooting conditions. Options include twilight, portrait, landscape, snow, beach, candle mode, high-speed shutter or even fireworks, to ensure high-quality images in any kind of conditions.

The Cyber-shot T33 also has a Magnifying Glass mode in which subjects appearing on the LCD screen can be magnified up to 3.3 times. This gives users the ability to capture even the tiniest details to ensure the best picture quality anytime, anywhere.

Cyber-shot Station: Charging and Sharing
The new DSC-T33 also comes with its very own Cyber-shot Station USB cradle. With its very own cradle, it becomes so much more convenient to play back pictures for a friend or transfer images to a PC while charging the camera's batteries. When connected to a PictBridge-compatible printer, such as Sony's digital photo printer DPP-FP30, printing out pictures has never been easier.

With approximately 180 shots per charge of the camera's InfoLITHIUM battery, NP-FT1, users can snap away without fear of running down the charge.
