MediaGear Inc. announced that it will debut its new ImageBank DPP-TV (Digital Photo Processing on TV), at CES 2005, in the Flash Forward TechZone, Booth #1, in Las Vegas. MediaGear has designed a unique All-In-One product called ImageBank DPP-TV that makes it easy to view, edit, print, and store digital photos. It is the first product of its type that allows digital photographers to process photos on TV in the comfort of their living room, without a PC. "Customers told us, that even though photographers can do many things with their digital images, most struggle with computer technology, and they feel that it's often difficult to get their photos printed correctly," stated Don Wallis, VP of Sales at MediaGear.

"Editing is a great option, but few photographers take the time. They also feel that storage and organization of digital photos is too complex, so we designed a product that would be easy to use for the digital camera generation."
With ImageBank DPP-TV, you can shoot photos anywhere, and then save your images to CD with the push of a button. When back home, you can easily view and edit your photos on your TV, then print them to any PictBridge printer. Simple and easy to use, the ImageBank DPP-TV is also a portable CD-RW, so when your traveling and shooting digital photos, just insert any flash memory card, and then push a single button to store your images to CD. When back home, you can easily view and edit your photos on your TV, and print them. With the remote control, you can edit your digital photos on TV by rotating them, enhancing the color and contrast, eliminating red eye, and cropping the photos to get them just right.
When you're ready, you can also use the remote control to view an individual picture or an entire slide show of your photos on your TV from flash memory cards, CDs, thumb drives, or direct from camera. Then you can burn the edited photo onto a CD, or copy the photos back onto any flash memory card.
Once you've edited the photos, you can print them directly to any PictBridge printer. Most 4" x 6" photo printers on the market today and many of the larger than 4" x 6" format color printers are now PictBridge. You can also edit and print directly from a digital camera.
The ImageBank DPP-TV reads 12 formats of flash memory cards (SD, miniSD, MMC, MS (Pro, Duo, & Select), CF I & II, MD, SM, & xD), and is compatible with Microsoft XP, 2000, 98SE, and ME as well as with Mac OS 10.2.x, 10.1.2+, 9.2.x, and OS 9.1.x. |
