Michael Grefkes Marketing Manager at Fujifilm : Michael Grefkes (41) was appointed Marketing Manager at Fuji Photo Film (Europe) GmbH in Düsseldorf with effect from December 1. Here he is responsible for all national-level marketing in the Consumer Products area.This area includes products for both digital and analog photography: cameras, storage cards, film, paper and minilabs. At Fujifilm, the Consumer Products area accounts for approximately 70% of all revenues. Grefkes was previously Channel Manager at Sony Deutschland GmbH, where his responsibilities included developing the photo dealership distribution channel. Prior to this, he held other responsible sales and marketing positions at Sony and 3M.

His tasks at Fujifilm include strengthening and consolidating the company's market position in all segments of the Consumer area. All Product Managers in this area, the company's own market research department, Market Services and the quality assurance department all report to Grefkes. "My aim is to strengthen the Fujifilm brand," says Grefkes. "It must be made clear that decades of photo competence are also decisive for digital products. However, technology should never be allowed to take first place, photography means zest for life, whether analog or digital is unimportant. This is what the Fujifilm brand stands for."
