Fujifilm at the Essen Motor Show 2004

 At this year's Motor Show in Essen, which will take place from November 26 to December 5, the original Porsche of the Porsche Carrera Cup will be on display for the first time. Fujifilm sponsors the Mamerow Racing team, which has more than 20 years' experience in motor sport. Peter Mamerow's team has made a name for itself in the ADAC GT Cup, the Super-Tourenwagen (touring car) Cup, the Porsche Carrera Cup, the Formula ADAC Championship and since 2001 in the DTM (German Touring Car Masters). In the 2004 Porsche Carrera Cup, the Mamerow team entered the Fujifilm Porsche with driver Hannes Lachinger which won the title with Mamerow in the Formula BMW Championship in 2000.

 The races were held on all the major German circuits such as the Nürburgring, the Hockenheimring, the Lausitzring and in Oschersleben.
Further to digital camera presentations, one highlight of the promotional series at the Mamerow stand will be the Fun-Shooting - here every visitor will be able to pose with the impressive Porsche free of charge and take home a souvenir photo, printed on high-quality Fujicolor Supreme paper. In addition, visitors will have the opportunity to find out about a wide range of Fujifilm products such as digital cameras, storage cards and other accessories, and even to purchase them directly. For snapshots we recommend a Fujifilm QuickSnap camera, which will also be on sale at the stand.
