PQIPower Quotient international Co., Ltd. (PQI), a leading manufacturer of digital media solutions, announced the unveiling of its PQI mPack, a portable digital entertainment system suitable for viewing movies, pictures and data on a 3.5" TFT LCD screen. Ideal for home or travel use, the mPack contains a whopping 40GB of disk space with USB 2.0 capabilities to upload multiple types of files, including movies, music and photos. "We feel the mPack is the exciting entry into the world of personal entertainment. With the mPack, you can record and play back your favorite movies and television shows from DVD, VHS and even directly from your television," said Nick Adams, U.S. Retail Sales Manager at PQI.

A Portable Movie Player
The mPack, supporting MPEG 1/2, MPEG4 (DivX3, 4, 5), Xvid, WMV, and MJPEG formats for play back, stores and plays movies on its 3.5" TFT LCD screen wherever you go. Or record your favorite movies or TV programs in WMV format and you'll never be bored, on the road or in the air.

A Pocket MP3 Player with FM Radio and Voice Recorder
Load up hours of your favorite songs. The mPack supports MP3 (VBR, CBR), WMA, AC3, AAC, WAV, AIFF, and OGG playback with built in equalizers (EQ). A built-in FM tuner and in-line recording allow you to record and store radio broadcasts in WMA format. The mPack also contains a built in microphone for recording those important, split second ideas and saving them as WMA files. It's a great language learning tool as well.

A Walking Photo Album
Never worry about flash memory card space! The copy button enables easy file transfer from your flash media to mPack's internal storage. Instantly displaying photos on its 3.5" TFT LCD screen, mPack reads CompactFlash cards through its onboard reader. Memory Stick, Secure Digital, MultiMediaCard and SmartMedia cards are supported through the optional 4-in-1adapter. Photos can be displayed singularly, in slide show or many other formats.

An Instant USB Storage Drive
Take your files with you. With 40GB of onboard storage and a USB 2.0 connection, mPack provides an instant external storage space to your computer with high transfer rate. Preloaded with video games for effortless amusement, mPack is a portable entertainment center at home or on the road, your way, your style.

PQI's mPack with 40GB storage is in Taiwan. The MSRP is US$609.00.
