ALLTEL offers 1MP camera video phone from Motorola

ALLTEL announced it is now offering the Motorola V710 wireless phone with a 1.2 megapixel camera and flash, video recorder, MP3 player and Bluetooth wireless technology. The phone supports ALLTEL's Axcess Picture Messaging, which allows customers to take, send and receive color photos with voice and text messages, and Axcess Mobile Web 2.0, an enhanced wireless Internet service featuring graphics, pictures and other tools. "The Motorola V710 takes camera phones to the next generation in performance offering customers the ability to shoot quality photos as well as record and play video clips," said Laura Cook, vice president of wireless marketing for ALLTEL.

"In addition, the Bluetooth wireless headset lets customers cut the cord from their earpiece offering greater freedom and convenience when talking."
ALLTEL is offering the Motorola V710 for $249.99 with a two-year service contract. The Motorola Bluetooth wireless headset is available for $79.99.
"With powerful multimedia capabilities and advanced hands-free connectivity, the Motorola V710 complements the mobile needs of ALLTEL's customers," stated Jim Alley, Motorola General Manager. "Whether capturing video, surfing the Web or listening to music, this sleek handset provides a superior mobile experience."
ALLTEL's Axcess Picture Messaging service allows customers to send or receive up to 30 picture messages per month for $3.99. Additional picture messages can be sent or received for 25 cents per message.
ALLTEL's Axcess Mobile Web 2.0 allows customers to browse Web sites, send and receive e-mail, play Web games and receive news, weather and sports alerts from their wireless phone. Axcess Mobile Web 2.0 can be added to any service plan for $5.99 per month. |
