LetsGoDigitalToday the press meeting started, prior to the opening of the spectacular event concerning (digital) photography, the Photokina 2004. This event, which takes place in Cologne (germany), is held every two years and offers visitors a view on the current position in the field of imaging. Of course we will be there, starting from day one, during the press meeting which is scheduled for monday. We have seen the main part of camera introductions passing by as we get closer to the Photokina, but undoubtedly there will be many innovations, trends, printers, accessories etc, to be admired at this event. Including the new digital camera introductions from the last few weeks, they will be displayed for the first time.
During the whole of next week, we will bring you the latest news, completed with images live from the showfloor, all of this will be published on the Photokina site, specially designed by LetsGoDigital. The site, http://www.photokina-show.com, is already attracting many visitors and will be placed in the spotlight even more the upcoming week. Two years ago, camera manufacturers were still showing a large amount of 35mm camera's to the public. You probably remember, those were the camera's that didn't show the captured image on the small screen on the back of the camera, but in stead, the images were stored on a film, and not on the well-known Flash memory card. We expect the amount of new 35mm camera's to have shrunk incredibely this year, and we expect the digital camera to rull as a king at the showfloor of this Photokina.

We will visit the Photokina, the impressive event for the photography enthusiast. We offer you the chance to experience this event with us, by visiting the special Photokina website! The next few days we will daily update the site with topics and images directly from the Photokina!
