OlympusIt is not necessary to be an expert in photography to get excellent results with the Olympus C-370 ZOOM. "Photo fun for everyone" is the philosophy behind this compact and lightweight model. By incorporating a "one button, one function" principle, users can fully enjoy the camera's features with comfort. The new menu even helps in the selection of the various programme modes by describing their function. However, the C-370 ZOOM comes up with more. A resolution of 3.2 million pixels ensures crisp photos and the 3x optical zoom lens lets motifs be drawn even closer. This PictBridge compatible camera features a Super Macro mode for dramatic close-up shots of extremely small subjects from as close as 2cm.
The unbeatable Olympus C-370 ZOOM Captured images are saved either to the 12MB internal memory or xD-Picture Cards and can be viewed on the built-in LCD monitor.

If getting the shot is what counts, then the Olympus C-370 ZOOM is a sure bet. It gets the job done with an absolute minimum of fuss. Easy-to-use controls conveniently located on its ergonomic body allow straightforward point and shoot photography. In addition, four programme modes, including portrait and night scene, are on hand. These are supported by a special help function in the menu that describes the selected mode on the LCD monitor.

With 3.2 million pixels, the Olympus C-370 ZOOM brings pictures to life. Definition and image clarity is further assured thanks to the 3x optical zoom lens (equivalent to 38–114mm on a 35mm camera), which incorporates three aspherical elements. A 4x digital zoom provides additional magnification power.

Still more functions extend its shooting versatility. The Super Macro mode allows shots from as little as 2cm away, and video sequences - limited in length only by available memory - can be captured as well. For checking results, the camera offers a 1.5 inch LCD monitor. Pictures may also be rotated, if necessary, for viewing on a TV. Image data is saved to the 12MB internal memory or on xD-Picture Cards up to 512MB. And due to support of the PictBridge standard, direct printing on compatible printers is very simple.

The compact and lightweight Olympus C-370 ZOOM is shipped with the new Olympus Master 1.0 software. It will be available from October 2004 at a very attractive price.
