SanyoSanyo Xacti VPC-J4 digital camera introduced : During the first day of the CeBIT show Sanyo introduced the Sanyo Xacti VPC-J4 digital camera. The 4 Megapixel camera has a sleek design and will captivate users from the very first glance. The ultra-compact size (101x46x26mm) combines perfect form with the latest in easy-to-use, professional technology. In terms of speed, the Sanyo VPC-J4 is a true racehorse: it is ready for use just 0.8 seconds after power on, in 1.5 seconds from one shot to the next and 0.5 seconds for playback mode. This means that the Sanyo Xacti VPC-J4 is one of the fastest digital cameras in its category. The internal optical zoom ensures outstanding picture-taking speed while protecting the lens from dirt.

An innovative feature in the 4 Megapixel camera segment is the true VGA video function: the Sanyo VPC-J4 delivers video sequences in DVD quality with audio, the recording length is limited by storage space alone. And there are even more easy-to-use features: for example, real-time interpolation that permits image resolutions of 8 Megapixels for high-quality prints at up to A3 size; LED illumination that simplifies lowlight photography; or the creative image-in-image feature that allows users to insert an image into another in a number of different ways.
