CasioWell, just when you thought you have published all those camera introductions Casio unveils another pair of digital cameras. Today we can inform you about the new EXILIM EX-Z30 and EX-Z40 cameras. The new EXILIM models EX-Z30 and EX-Z40 are compact digital cameras with 3 resp. 4 Megapixels resolution and 3x optical zoom. CASIO's own newly developed "Triple Stack MCM (Multi Chip Module)" Technology enables a space-saving module form. The more efficient module structure allows the rechargeable battery to be used with almost twice the capacity of its predecessor. The combination of durable high-power rechargeable battery and the new module guarantee many hours of fun shooting photos.
Casio launches two new cameras: EX-Z30 and EX-Z40In their elegantly designed metal body, the EXILIM EX-Z30 and EX-Z40 have a 2-inch TFT colour display for perfect picture viewing. The vigilant photographer won't miss a single moment thanks to the camera's new "Direct-On" function, which puts it into ready status in around 1.6 seconds, and the shutter release time of around 0.01 seconds. And special photographing possibilities such as the single picture and movie with sound recording provide a lot of fun. But that's not all - you can now record your videos with sound for as long as you like: merely the amount of storage space determines how long you're able to record those wonderful moments of an evening with friends, the highlights of a sports event or the sightseeing tour in a new city.

A total of 21 pre-recorded scenes (BESTSHOT) make sure that the user always selects the best photo scenario to produce perfect photos. Additional features like red-eye-reduction, self timer, voice recording and calendar make the 129g lightweight a real all-round talent.

The USB docking station, which is included in the accessories package, is the perfect complement to the elegant look of the small digital trendsetter. And in the sense of "Get the big picture & the big business", the stylish station recharges the EXILIM's Lithium-Ion storage battery, serves as the PC connection and also transmits the image data. The EXILIM EX-Z30 and the EX-Z40 are available from specialist retailers from the end of March onwards.
