Konica Minolta DiMAGE Z20 - Versatile
The DiMAGE Z20 is an interesting digital camera. And we are very positive about the camera's performance when testing it. The photo's feature true-to-nature colors and I didn't feel the urge to immediately edit the captured images. The wide optical range, from wide-angle to telephoto and the possibility of taking high quality macro images, make the Z20 a versatile camera. The quality of the images is excellent, the response time of the camera is fine and last but not least, the energy consumption is a trouble-free item on the Konica Minolta. Add to this the user-friendly well-organized menu and you'll have to admit that Konica Minolta did a great job.
Konica Minolta Z20 - Simple arrangement
The camera is well-organized with perfectly arranged buttons. Anyone taking the camera in his or her hands will be able to make the first photo in no-time. Especially the beginning photographer who is not spoiled by the digital history yet, will almost immediately feel at ease with the Z20. Someone who is more acquainted with digital camera's or the enhanced photographer will notice straight away that the buttons on the back of the camera don't carry icons, and will feel less at ease by having to dig into the menu to adjust the camera. The menu plays a leading roll on the DiMAGE Z20 and it might not be the quickest way to adjust a setting, it definitely is extremely clear.
Konica Minolta DiMAGE Z20 - Counter-arguments
Are there no comments at all? Well, in general none, or hardly any. You might find the higher contrast a bit over the top or the material used on the camera with the huge sized buttons and the lacking of the icons, but if you look at the convincing performance that the Konica Minolta DiMAGE Z20 puts down, I consider these comments not important enough to take them seriously.
Konica Minolta Z20 - Conclusion
You can't deny it: the Konica Minolta DiMAGE Z20 is an excellent digital camera suitable for a large target group. It's an ideal camera for taking images in and around the house and it is also an ideal travelling companion on trips, holidays and long journeys. The camera is light weighted, equipped with an outstanding handgrip and it features a fine zoom lens. Konica Minolta even kept the price of the DiMAGE Z20 down to an attractive low level so you'd possibly like to add the Z20 to your wishing list soon! DiMAGE Z20 - Secure Digital memory card
The Konica Minolta Z20 has a fast startup time and is also speedy with its other functions. The speed of over 3 frames per second is a good performance. The buffer can only take 3 images before filling up. In general the performance is great, certainly for a digital camera in this attractively affordable price range. The images are stored on the internal memory of approximately 14MB or on an optional SD memory card. Of course the latter one has our preferences; a high resolution camera like the DiMAGE Z20 deserves more than the skimpy 14MB of the internal memory! We consider a 256MB Secure Digital memory card as a minimum storage capacity for this camera.
Considering 256MB storage capacity:
