Well, Sony finally realized what the Canon SD series had, and copied it into the Cybershot DSC W50. Small size, trigger-mounted zoom rocker, you name it. Overall, I think it's some good work. Pictures are very nice. Video is also good. Small (and I mean small) size bothered me with Canon, but I can hold the Cybershot W50 and use it with one hand just fine. The cons: LCD's choppy. Even my old DSC-S70 has smooth LCD. Amusingly, the LCD is best when you're in Fine Movie mode. Door for battery and memory stick is flimsy. Worst of all, the connection port on the bottom of the camera has no protection what so ever. Overall, a worthy addition to the Sony W line, and I'd have no qualms about recommending it.
