Let me say that I am more than pleased with the Samsung A4. The Digimax A4 is an excellent beginners camera. Takes clear, pictures, good video, and has a sound record feature which works! Looks and feels solid enough. Tried the camera at night (fireworks), in sunlight and indoors without problems. The night shot impressed me as it picked up quite a bit of detail. It is also Extremely easy and intuitive to use. The manual is good too. Downsides: Slow recovery from shots (if you need action shots then buy a faster camera). Buy rechargeable batteries as it does tend to use quite a lot of power. If you are looking for a camera for holiday snaps or general all round use you could do much worse than this camera.
