Olympus SP 350 Reviews from camera owners

Colors are vivid right out of the box. The SP350 digital camera from Olympus has more features than commonly mentioned. No reviews I've read mentioned the 2nd curtain flash sync, or the interval shooting option. I haven't had both those options on a camera since my Ricoh XR-M manual focus camera from 20 years ago. The camera and I have different opinions on what constitutes low light. I have to turn off the flash very often. I wish the lens were wider. The Olympus SP 350 is much smaller than it appears in a showcase window. Overall, a good purchase for me.

Being a fan of Olympus cameras and an ex-owner of a Camedia 5050, I felt
completely disappointed about my new SP-350. The camera's body quality is
really low. Pure cheap plastic. The lid that covers the USB plug has already
shown signs of being worn out. The LCD despite it's 2,5'size has low
resolution. By the way, the USB cable has a new plug that connects to the
camera so you have to use the specific cable to connect it to the PC. The
first pictures I've taken with the Olympus SP350 seem OK, but noise is evident. Overall, if you are after the professional like cameras Olympus used to make, simply forget it.

The Olympus SP350 is my 4th digital camera and they have proven to be progressively improved in capability and quality. I don't believe they can be beat for performance and satisfaction.
