The Olympus Mju 810 has everything that people want for a digital camera, especially taking photos in the low light area and its weather proof. It also has other features that most popular brands have, but not for the same price. Bravo Olympus!

I’ve had the Olympus Mju 810 since June of this year and I have taken it to several places including Paris and Bali, and I have taken more than 1000 pictures already. This camera delivers good pictures in daylight. When the anti-shake function was chosen, it adjusted the ISO automatically. Unfortunately when the light gets a bit darker, it tends to move to a higher ISO – which means ‘noisy’ pictures.
However, this is still better than shaky pictures. I found that the Olympus Mju 810 with anti-shake function is better than several other good brands available on the market; so far it is the best all-weather camera. The display is normally washed out under the sun, but after sometime I got used to it, and focusing in macro mode is sometimes quite tricky.

I hoped the Olympus Mju 810 would be a high resolution replacement for my trusty old Fuji. It is awful. In good light the colours are dead. The low light feature is no better than my old Fuji. The picture focus is poor and the image has a mysterious shadowing sometimes. The display is not all that useful in daylight.
