Olympus FE-100 Reviews from camera owners

This is a fine little camera. The price is right and the controls and menus
are logical and easy. I haven't printed any images, but on a computer
screen they are crisp and have excellent color. I'm very happy with the Olympus FE-100 digital camera. It doesn't appear to be a battery hog...I've had it a week and have done 100 images and showing them to friends and still the original
batterys. I only wish the LCD was a bit bigger and had a little less glare
but thats with most cameras....

It's a wonderful camera to begin with. The Olympus FE-100 has got a superb colour resolution and night vision capacity if put on a tripod. Among problems there is no sound recording capability in Video recording and battery this is indeed a battery hunger. Better to use a rechargeable battery. But for small time use and still picture this Olympus camera is excellent.

Well having the Olympus FE100 camera for exactly 1 month now, I have to admit this a great beginners camera. I have taken the camera on a family vacation and the pictures printed out very nicely. Only draw back was lack of accessories such as a case.

I've found that while the Oly FE-100 digital camera takes quite good photos, the battery life is really bad... Because it runs on 3.0V, it cannot use Lithium Ion digital camera batteries (which are each 1.2v). So it can only use normal AA batteries which do not last very long in a camera...

We have had the Olympus FE-100 for a week now and am surprised that some people are happy about the storage of the batteries because we have changed them about 5 times already. As soon as you put new batteries, the sing of a low battery starts showing. We are happy about everything else but not the batteries.
