I have a considerable collection of Nikon film cameras & lenses. A year ago Nikon had nothing that interested me; D100 D70 etc. The E1 solved my problem. It is my first digital camera & I am very pleased with it's performance. At today's bargain prices I may buy a back up.

I've been using two Olympus E1 DSLRs for 12 months for School Portraits (50k
exposures) and while most results are quite good the focusing of the 50mm
lens is not good. Images show movement/unsharpness. The 14-54mm zoom is quicker to focus & more accurate. Has anyone else had these problems?

The most ergonomic DSLR out there? The Olympus E1 is certainly tough, weatherproof, dust free, and has glass to kill for. Grab one, while they're cheap! My only niggle is I catch the Auto WB button with my finger tip on occasion.
