I just love this camera, very fast and it feels great to have something solid in your hands. But it takes time to master this camera and all it´s featurs.

The Nikon D70 is the best camera made for under US$1000. We have two and all the available stuff - great system kudos to Nikon but don't mess with a good thing!

The Nikon D70 felt immediately like a long-time friend to both me and my wife. The first times I was taking pictures (you'll all recognize the situation: sitting in a dimly lit living room you simply click away) I started laughing out loud. This camera really does it all - and does it very well indeed. Only point of criticism: you need to be very, very careful with the CCD - it picks up dust all too easy. Keep it tilted down when changing lenses! Apart from that: the D70 is a great camera and well worth every penny!
